Payment & Delivery Guidelines
Funky Finds is dedicated to creating unique, handmade craft items tailored to your order. As each piece is crafted specifically for you upon payment, we have specific payment and refund policies to ensure clarity and fairness. Below are our payment guidelines for orders within Australia.
Payment Process
Payment Methods: We accept payments via major credit/debit cards, Bank Transfer, and other secure payment platforms available at checkout.
Payment Timing: Full payment is required at the time of order placement to initiate the crafting process. Orders will not be processed until payment is confirmed.
Currency: All transactions are processed in Australian Dollar (AUD). Prices displayed at checkout include any applicable taxes.
Refund Policy
Handmade Nature: Due to the custom, handmade nature of our products, refunds are generally not available unless the item is faulty or does not match the agreed-upon specifications.
Faulty Items: If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at lola@funkyfinds.com.au with photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if approved, offer a replacement or refund.
Non-Refundable Cases: Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, incorrect sizing or customisation details provided by the customer, or delays due to the handmade production process.
Processing Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
Order Cancellations
Before Crafting Begins: Orders may be cancelled with a full refund if requested within 12 hours of payment, before crafting begins. Contact us at lola@funkyfinds.com.au to request cancellation.
After Crafting Begins: Once crafting has started, cancellations are not possible due to the resources and time invested in creating your unique item.
Delivery
Processing Time
Order Confirmation: Once payment is received, you’ll receive an order confirmation email within 24-48 hours.
Crafting Time: Each item is handmade to order, which typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on the complexity of the item and current order volume.
High-Demand Periods: During peak seasons (e.g., holidays), crafting times may extend to 10-15 business days. We’ll notify you at the time of purchase if delays are expected.
Shipping
Shipping Partners: We partner with reliable carriers (e.g., Australia Post) to deliver your order safely.
Shipping Time:
Australia: 3-7 business days after crafting is complete, depending on your location within Australia.
Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. We aim to keep costs affordable while ensuring secure delivery.
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email once your order ships, allowing you to monitor its progress.
Important Notes
Custom Orders: If your order includes customisations, additional time (2-5 business days) may be required. We’ll confirm the timeline upon order placement.
Delays: While we strive to meet our estimated timelines, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., supply shortages or high demand) may cause delays. We’ll keep you updated via email if this occurs.
Delivery Expectations
Total Delivery Time: On average, expect 8-17 business days for orders within Australia from the date of payment.
Packaging: Each item is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, reflecting the handmade quality of Funky Finds.
